As 2020 winds down to a welcome close, the First Defenders are ready to move into the second half of their 24th Campaign. With restaurants scheduled to resume normal operations on January 4th, the year-opening program and meeting is scheduled for January 12th at Giannotti’s Country Restaurant.
The program for the month will be presented by former Round Table President Joe Schaeffer. In his fourth program, Joe will be staying with his naval interests by presenting “Help Yourself, and God Will Help You: the Birth, Life and Death of the C.S.S. Alabama.” More details about Joe’s program can be found on the “Events” page.
Our first four programs of the 24th Campaign have been held both in-person and virtually, and the January program will be no different. We continue to work on getting all of the programs uploaded into our members-only area for those who were unable to attend or who would simply like to go back and check out the program again. Technical difficulties have slowed the process, but it is anticipated these will be resolved shortly!
