April Program Update!
The First Defenders have learned that perennial April guest Ed Bearss recently suffered a fall at his home. Although not seriously injured, Ed will be off his feet for a week or two and will be unable to present his “Evening with Ed” program on the Battle of Shiloh.
While wishing Ed a speedy return to the lecture circuit and battlefields, our April program will now feature First Defender Wally Heimbach and the story of Winfield Scott Hancock at the Battle of Gettysburg. A former battlefield guide, few people are more informed about “Hancock the Superb” and his legendary actions at Gettysburg. This is another program not to be missed!
